  • I need some photos taken. When can I get them and how much will it cost me?

This is by far the most commonly asked question I get and sadly, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. The reality is is that I'm here to create images for you. That means I can typically fit your shoot in on rather short notice whether it be during the day, evening or on the weekends. The majority of our face-to-face time for most shoots will wrap up in under 90 minutes. Cost is almost completely dependent on what you want from me and as a creative, that could range from a few photographs for your Christmas card shot at a local forest to a picturesque,  cinematic wedding film in the Rocky Mountains. Quotes are free! I'm easily reached via my contact page and will get back to you promptly.

  • Do you "do" video?

Yes, I do "do" video. There is a time and place for everything but I've found that families tend to get much more enjoyment out of videos nowadays than ever before. They can easily be saved right to your phone and shared on social media to offer a truly immersive experience that you can't always portray with photography. The sky's the limit as far as possibilities go, whether you want to share your gender reveal with the world, the little one's cake smash party or even documenting your wedding day in a beautifully cinematic way.

  • What gear do you use?

Gear is more accessible to users at every level than ever before and while the standard answer is that it doesn't matter, I take great pride in using the tools that accomplish the job most efficiently with the most important one being my creativity. I own numerous Nikon DSLR bodies, both full-frame and APS-C and wide assortment of quality lenses. An array of lights, stands and flashes fill my office. I use a DJI drone when the occasion calls which literally takes my creativity to the next level. I hold the FAA certification necessary to fly the small UAS safely and professionally. The back-end gear that you'll likely never see includes a custom work station and a suite of Adobe software to process the large 4K video files and photos.

  • How will I get my photos? Do you provide prints?

Many modern laptops, cell phones and tablets don't have a disk drive, or even a USB drive. As such, I've subscribed to an online service that allows me to create beautiful, custom and secure online photo galleries where you can download your high-res photos and back them up at your discretion. The gallery is shared to you via email and I give you the option to password protect it if you chose. It is easily shared on social media and looks stunning no matter what device you choose to view it on. The gallery has options to order professional prints that are quality controlled by me personally and safely mailed to your home. Prints are not typically included in my packages, but I offer prints, wall art and photo books that are typically discussed upon delivery. 

  • How about weddings?

Yes, weddings. I shot for many years before I was at a point where I felt comfortable offering to capture somebody's (a stranger's) big day. I'm there now and a big part of it was getting over the stranger mindset. I make it a point to get to know you well before the day and insist on doing an engagement shoot or something similar beforehand. I include these initial shoots in all of my wedding packages as I feel it’s important to become comfortable with one another so that we can look forward to seeing each other the morning of your special day.

  • Will you take a check?

Sure! I accept all major credit cards, checks or cash.
